Immigration Office Closed 17-25 March 2026 for National Public Holidays: Nyepi & Eid Al-Fitr 2026

Immigration Office Closure Announcement - Nyepi & Eid Al-Fitr 2026

Indonesia Immigration Offices will temporarily close during the upcoming Nyepi (Balinese Day of Silence) and Idul Fitri public holidays.

Immigration Office Closure Period: 17-25 March 2026

  • Closed: 17 March – 25 March 2026
  • Reopen: 26 March 2026

During this period, immigration offices will pause most visa-related services, including visa applications, visa extensions, and other immigration processes.

Immigration authorities aim to complete as many applications as possible before 17 March, and any remaining submissions will continue processing after 25 March 2026.

Travelers whose visas expire around these dates are strongly advised to submit their visa application or extension early to avoid delays or overstay penalties (Rp 1 million per day).

  • Visa processing may take longer than usual around these dates.
  • Immigration control at airports and international entry points will continue operating normally.
  • Visa on Arrival (VoA) services at airports remain available for incoming travelers.
