The Indonesia E31A Visa is a limited-stay family visa for foreign nationals who are legally married to an Indonesian citizen and wish to live together in Indonesia. It allows the visa holder to stay in Indonesia for up to one year and travel in and out of the country while their re-entry permit remains valid.
The applicant must be sponsored by their Indonesian husband or wife and provide official documentation proving that the marriage is legally recognized. Marriages conducted outside Indonesia may need to be registered or reported to the relevant Indonesian authority.
This visa is intended for foreign nationals who wish to join and live with their Indonesian husband or wife in Indonesia. Visa holders may also conduct tourism activities and visit friends or family.
