If you’re flying to Bali or anywhere in Indonesia, you might not need to wait in long visa lines. Citizens from 97 countries can now apply for an Electronic Visa on Arrival (eVoA), online, before you travel.
What is eVoA?
The Electronic Visa on Arrival (eVoA) lets you:
- Apply online before departure
- Skip payment & visa queues at the airport
- Stay 30 days, extendable once for another 30 days (extend your eVoA here)
- Enter via airports, seaports, and land borders
Perfect for tourism, business, family visits, or transit.
Please note: if you plan to extend, make sure you’re aware of the new biometric rules: Biometric Visa Extension in Indonesia

If your country is not included in the eVoA eligible list, you can still enter Indonesia legally by applying for the C1 / 211A Tourist Visa.
The C1/211A visa allows you to:
- Enter Indonesia for tourism, family visits, or social purposes
- Stay up to 60 days per entry
- Extend your stay (depending on current regulations)
- Apply before travel, without lining up at the airport
This option is commonly used by travelers from non-eVoA countries or those planning a longer stay than 60 days.
